Dr. Feng Yue received his B.A. degree from Peking University in 2000, a Masters and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of South Carolina in 2003 and 2008. He did his postdoctoral training in Dr. Bing Ren’s laboratory at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, UCSD School of Medicine, mainly working on the mouse ENCODE project.
Dr. Yue joined Penn State School of Medicine on Oct 2013 as a tenure-track assistant professor and now his lab has one Principal Investigator, one research assistant professor, two postdoc fellows, 2 graduate students and one undergraduate student. His research is focused on large-scale comparative analysis of cis-regulatory elements in the mammalian genome and 3D structure of the genome organization.
