About

Hello!

My name is Yuhan Zhang and I’m currently a junior majoring in fine art. For now, the artistic skill I’ve learnt professionally is Chinese traditional painting which become indispensable in my life. It supports me when I am strangled hard by the pressure of life and several traumas. Besides Chinese painting. I am also addicted to architecture, photography, color-penciled figure drawing, and the culinary arts. I’m from a beautiful small town in China where peoples there herd livestock for their living. My hometown breeds my interests in art as an inspiration source of my art pieces and designs.

Art is more than a skill for me because it motivates me to learn and be creative. I am addicted to drawing from very young age and I will carry it into my whole lifetime. Drawing has always been a major outlet of creativity and stress-relief for me; no matter the situation I may find myself in, drawing is always there. When thinking about long term goals with art, I want to be able to learn as many forms of art as I can, including sculpturing, oil painting, etc. Although sometimes it’s controversial to be an artist nowadays, I will try my best to make art my first and last career without fear.

Hoping to share more with you through the juicy bits!
