My first student at PSU, Shauna, has successfully defended her master degree last week! How exciting!!! Hope we can publish her paper asap!!!
We also hired two new staff: Teodora (Associate Director) and Emmy (technologist). Please welcome them when you have a chance to stop by!
It’s been a challenging summer after losing 2 staff (1 temporary though) and we apologize for any inconveniences this might have given to the users. Having Teoroda and Emmy in full action, we will soon be back to our normal operation with quality data in reasonable turnaround time!
Thank you very much!

Due to lack of the staff, we will be closing for NGS library prep services during summer 2018, likely starting from mid June. Sorry for any inconveniences. Sequencing only services should be still available over summer if you submit ready-made NGS libraries. In the meantime (or anytime!), the Genomics Core at University Park campus will be available taking your NGS library prep services. Please let me know if you are interested in this option. Once the new hires are here and get trained, we plan to re-open the library prep services in fall. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you! -Yuka
