It’s been a while since I posted anything here, likely due to being continuously busy with teaching, raising a toddler, and slowly plugging away at research for a project on Israeli punk bands that I’ve been working on for a while now. Last year, I had the opportunity to do some lengthy interviews for a couple of podcasts that were especially exciting for me because I’m a big fan of both the podcasts themselves and the scholars who host them (both are linked below, along with a few additional links since my previous update). I’m looking forward to teaching some new courses in upcoming semesters, including a return to material on urbanism and cultural geography that I love doing, as well as a course on monsters in popular culture that should be fun to offer. I’ve got a few other things brewing at the moment but I’ll hold off on details until a later date.
