For this project, it was much beneficial to see the example by Louise Nevelson in order to create my inspiration for my very own project. From the reading and the development, I believe that the purpose of this concept was to get our brains thinking in a subtractive way, and to visualize how random objects can be joined and merged together in a collage manner.

As you can see, I was having some difficulties creating a hand drawn sketch for this design concept, so I chose the route of adding images of what I will use into a Jamboard and then I will explain how I imagine the objects coming together.

First and foremost, the rook in the center will be the focus point of the collage. I will have the playstation controller resting with one arm on the top of the rook and the other one on the ground. The rubber duck will rest laying across the top of the controller, and the matchbox car will lean with the wheels on the side of rook. Finally, the baseball will rest underneath the controller and the ground.

Moving forward into the iteration page, it can be seen that there will be some struggles for myself as I move forward, dealing with the concept and space and subtraction, making sure that all the objects are fitting nicely together.

Stay tuned to see the final result!
