The new delta variant of covid-19 is a very scary virus that is continuing to get people sick even if they are vaccinated. Currently, two countries have already made a booster shot and are distributing it to their citizens and these countries are Germany and Israel. Although some countries are getting these extra booster shots not all scientist are in agreement on if we actually need them. The United States is currently against this and is not following the other countries yet but this could always change. Countries with high vaccination rates are seeing a steady decline in the amount of people dying to covid while the unvaccinated countries are seeing a spike with this new delta variant.

I think it is about time to let all the restrictions up and leave it to the people in the countries to decide what they want to do. The covid death rate is extremely low and the survival rate across all ages is 97% or above. It makes no sense to me why there are still mask mandates and the need for countries to go into lockdown over a virus that has killed less than 1% of the people who have contracted it. We were so close to getting back to regular life and now it has all gone down the gutter and we are going to have to restart the process of waiting for a new vaccine and convincing people to get it and it is so difficult being in this cycle. I want my normal life back this virus has already taken a year and a half from me and now what else is it going to take. I want to go places and not worry about a sickness that is not even lethal except for people with underlying conditions. I just wanna go back to pre covid because that time was a blast.
