The career to which I want to evolve my education into is an Accuntant. Through accounting many forms of technologies are to be used. QuickBooks is a huge resource that is used by accountants. Excel is used by accountants fairly often. Both are technologies that are huge parts of an accountant’s day-to-day operations.
QuickBooks:
QuickBooks is an online technology that provides many different services for many different people. Accounts most use it for invoicing and payments. Along there are reports within the software that you can utilize. Chart of accounts for accounts is a huge resource that is implemented into the software. The software makes it easy for accountants to pay bills for clients through bank cards that are connected to the software. You can also work with several different clients through the software. Along with those aspects, there is also a time aspect. You can track your billable hours, or if you have employees, you can track their billable hours. QuickBooks has courses and videos that can help you navigate the software. Approximately 26 million business in the US use QuickBooks, therefore going into the accounting career you will be very likely to use the software and technology.

Excel:
Excel is a great resource for accountants and companies that they work with. Excel contains many functions that are great to use for accounting. You can implement calculations and equations to help with the accounting factor. You can also use it as a data base and especially with spreadsheets. Every class that I have taken already through college in my accounting classes I have used Excel. Throughout this course I have any tactics through Excel that I will continue to use in my accounting career.
This is an example of a way that Excel is being used for accountants to make a spreedsheet with accounts and calculations.
