The WE ARE Campaign, STATERs, and Student Engaging Students have the following member retention ideas…
- use slogans like “Don’t be a hater. Be a STATER”
- transition responsibilities effectively to newer members
- Have constant engagement with current activities
- Have a “buddy system” so that new members feel welcome and older members are still engaged with being a mentor
- Offering “Reward points” for socials, hayrides, events, etc.
Also, we could have more than just T-shirts, such as water bottles, jackets, shorts, etc. Then, other students could see the pride within our org and want to join!
