We Are… the liaison for all things marine science at Penn State. We are a club for anyone passionate about the ocean and marine conservation/research.
Mission: The Pennsylvania State Marine Science Society was founded to provide a home where those passionate about marine science can thrive with a focus on education, awareness, and promoting healthy conservation efforts. We serve to study and help and promote marine science with topics including oceanography, marine biology, geology, and archeology. We provide opportunities for all interests with an emphasis on marine science. Furthermore, we hold the responsibility of sponsoring social events in marine science, such as guest speakers, movie showings, and marine science interest trips, conventions, or trips to see or enhance bodies of water.
Spring 2023:
Meetings every other Monday at 7:30pm in 323 Bouke Building.
