Decision Making in ADHD (Boys and girls 8 to 12 year old)
This study examines reward sensitivity in children with ADHD using computer games to measure risk-reward ratio, delayed gratification, and working memory. The study can be completed in one visit and is anticipated to take approximately 1.5 hours. Compensation is provided.

Participation includes:

    • A Zoom call with parent/legal guardian and youth to complete consent and an interview
    • Parents/legal guardians and youth complete a series of questionnaires
    • Youth participants complete a computer game to assess decision-making

Parent Emotion Regulation (5 to 12 year olds; Parent Therapy Related Intervention)
This study examines emotions and treatment for parents of children with attention and/or behavior problems.  Eligible participants are parents of children between the ages of 5 and 12 years who have a diagnosis of ADHD.  There’s no extra cost to assess and treat participants. Treatment involves eight weekly sessions with parents to help improve their child’s behavior. Study participants are compensated.

Participation includes:

    • Parents will complete computer games and rating scales
    • Parents will respond to surveys over a two-week time period using an app downloaded on their smartphone
    • Parents and children will be asked to participate in an optional, video recorded interaction task
    • Parents will participate in eight weekly sessions to learn strategies to help their child’s behavior problems
