James Waxmonsky, M.D.
Dr. Waxmonsky is the Division Chief of Child Adolescent Psychiatry at the Hershey Medical Center, the University Chair in Child Psychiatry at Penn State and a Professor of Psychiatry at the Penn State College of Medicine. His research focuses on the integration of medication and behavioral treatments targeting both children and their parents to improve the long-term efficacy and tolerability of ADHD treatments. Dr. Waxmonsky’s primary focus on the assessment and treatment of irritability in youth with ADHD and other behavioral disorders. He runs a clinical practice that provides assessment and treatment services for ADHD across the lifespan. Additionally, he oversees the development and expansion of Pediatric Behavioral Health Integrated Care Programs at the Penn State Health. In his free time, Dr. Waxmonsky enjoys watching the Buffalo Bills.

Daniel Waschbusch, Ph.D.
Dr. Waschbusch is a licensed psychologist with more than 15 years of experience in assessment and behavioral management of ADHD as well as aggressive behaviors in children ages 5 to 12. He is currently a clinical psychologist at Penn State Hershey’s Psychiatric Outpatient Center and serves as the Associate Vice Chair of Research for the Department of Psychiatry. His research is focused on the assessment and treatment of disruptive behavior disorders with a particular focus on callous unemotional features. Dr. Waschbusch likes hiking with his family in his free time.

Raman Baweja, M.D., M.S.
Dr. Baweja is an Associate Professor of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health and Public Health Sciences at Penn State College of Medicine. He is board Certified in child, adolescent & adult psychiatry. His research focuses on the comorbidity between ADHD and internalizing disorders, laboratory-based assessments of youth with persistent irritability, as well as integration of pharmacological and psychosocial interventions to improve the long-term functioning of youth with ADHD. Clinically, he provides assessment and treatment services for ADHD and Child and consult services at Penn State Children’s hospital. Outside of work, Dr. Baweja enjoys watching the Penn State Nittany lions and Philadelphia Eagles with his family.

Thresia Casanova, M.S. (Research Coordinator)
Thresia graduated from Millersville University in 2022 with an M.S. in Clinical Psychology after completing a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from The University of Tampa in 2019. She previously worked as a family-based therapist as well as a research assistant specializing in testing interventions for the management of dementia among family caregivers. She currently serves as Research Coordinator at the ABC clinic, where she works with ADHD and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Her research interests include mental health, family systems, and social neuroscience. In her spare time, Thresia enjoys crafting, music, and spending time with her cat.
