Proudest accomplishment within your PSU journey: Watching the organizations I have been involved with grow and knowing that the hard work we are putting in now will benefit the next generation of PSUWC students.

Quote to live by: “Embrace your inner radiance; like glitter, scatter joy and brilliance everywhere you journey.”

Best advice for success or well-being for others: Find your PSU family! It can be a small group or a large groups but connecting with other WC students to lean on and vent with who understand your struggles just a bit makes the journey incredible.

Reason for involvement in Active Minds – I originally got involved in Active Minds because it dealt a lot with mental health related issues and being a psychology major going into hoping to work with people with mental health issues it related to me a lot.  I also have dealt with my own mental health issues as well as having some family that has had some so the club was a nice place to feel welcome.
Proudest Accomplishment within your PSU journey – I can’t say I have one proud accomplishment that I have made because I feel that I have made a few.  Being on the executive board of a few clubs including Student Government are pretty great accomplishments as well as making it almost all the way through my degree.  I have also had some other students tell me I have gave them a lot of encouragement, motivation and support to try new things and push themselves break out of their shell so that’s a great accomplishment as well because I know I’ve helped others.
Best advice for success or well-being for others – Never feel like you know everything because you are always teachable.  Always be kind because you never know what anyone is going through and as you work your way up you can always come down just as fast.  To be successful you just have to work hard and believe in yourself and treat people the way that you would want to be treated because we are all equal and you don’t get to the top by treating people badly.
