Come Fly With Us!

Aero Design is a club that uses classroom knowledge to design, build, and fly a radio controlled airplane.  At the end of the academic year, the team participates in a competition organized by SAE and sponsored by Lockheed Martin and SolidWorks.

The SAE Aero Design competition challenges students to design, build, and fly a radio controlled airplane capable of lifting the maximum amount of internally stored payload while meeting design constraints.  The university’s team is student organized and is lead by graduate students and seniors.  We are are all Penn State students currently preparing for the competition and we are always looking for new members.  Contact us if you would like to join, or with any questions you may have.
