About Me

Hi! Welcome to my website!

I am Amelia Seely, a current student in the school of Hospitality Management at Penn State University.

I am pursuing a career in the broad fast-paced food service industry. I have over five years of experience working with guests and food production, and over four years of education relevant to Hospitality Management.

I am from the State College area originally, hailing from a small town called Millheim. Around the 8th grade, I moved to Alabama and then, in a strange turn of events, ended up returning to Pennsylvania to finish my last two years of high school at Central York High School located in York, PA.

I attended Penn State Berks campus for my first two years of college education, and then transferred to University Park to finish my degree. I have studied hospitality as well as the general education as per the college of Health and Human Development’s requirements.

This website is to showcase my combined knowledge and experiences from both my academic life and my work life. At Penn State, all hospitality students are required to log 1,000 hours of industry-relevant real-world work experience before we can graduate; I am coming into the business world much more experienced than the average student whom attended a different college.

Thanks for visiting my site!

Best Wishes,

Amelia
