Kevin Johnston, Director of TA Programs at Michigan State University, and I recently exchanged information and resources about the challenges faculty face when teaching students from different cultures and backgrounds.  That conversation prompted me to post the handout below.  I created this to illustrate why faculty sometimes find themselves in the middle of a classroom conflict.
