PhD Student Position:
The Power Electronics Laboratory at Penn State University is seeking PhD students for Fall 2020 to conduct research on power electronics converters and their applications in power grid.
Requirements for the position:
- M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering with strong background in power electronics
- Strong skills in simulation of power electronics circuits
- Hands-on experience in design of power electronics circuit, schematic and pcb
- DSP/FPGA programming experience
- Strong motivation to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong collaboration and communication skills (written and verbally) in English
