Hello all and welcome to my passion blog. Let me introduce myself. My name is Abbie, and I am here to share with y’all my love for Disney. Ever since I was little, I have always loved exiting my world and entering the fantastical world of beautiful mermaids, Greek mythology, the rolling hills of the Scottish Highlands, and so much more. It was and is still to this day my get away, my happy place.  Here are some of my favorites when it comes to Disney. My favorite Disney movie is a tie between Hercules and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. If you have not seen those two movies, I highly recommend them. My favorite Disney character is Mushu from Mulan and my favorite Disney Princesses are Ariel or Merida. I might be slightly biased because they’re both red heads like me, and when I wear my hair naturally, I get a lot of Merida comments. (see picture at the bottom) 

Some people might say that it is childish and that I need to grow up, but hey I am just embracing my inner child and it brings me joy. Who doesn’t love jamming to “I’ll make a man out of you” in the car?!?!  I don’t think there is anything wrong with liking Disney. In fact, if you do like Disney, I say you have amazing taste, and we should have a Disney night! I don’t know if y’all have had a Disney night, but for me it is so cathartic and just takes away all the stress that I have been carrying with school. I’m taking 20 credits this semester, so you bet your bottom dollar I will be watching all the animated classics to calm my brain within the next four months.   

In this blog series you can expect to see pretty much anything that pertains to the topic of Disney. If you look back you can see that I have recommended some of my favorite movies, roller coasters, rated new movies and more. I hope to introduce some new movies, and geek out with y’all about your favorite Disney anythings. Feel free to comment ideas of what y’all want to read next; I would love to hear your opinions about it. I want this blog to be a place where we all can nerd out with no judgement whatsoever. 

As a heads up, when I recommend movies and tv shows the vast majority of them can be found on Disney+. If you have it, that is amazing! If not, that is totally ok too! If I know of a place where you can get it somewhere else without having to rent it I will be sure to let you know. 

While I may have thought about changing my passion topic from Disney to something else I could not do it. I have way too many ideas of what to write about, and I am so excited to share them with you. I hope you guys enjoy this blast to the past with Disney!
