    • [November 2022]: Dr. Ting He and Dr. Bin Li demonstrated virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR) applications to kids at Mount Nittany Elementary School. Thanks to graduate students, Jiangong, Xinyi, and Xiaoyi, for their great help.
    • [October 2022]: Undergraduate students, Michael Artlip (EE) and Owen Sweeny (CSE), attended the National Workshop for REU Research in Networking and Systems (REUNS), which was held in Denver, and presented their demo paper “Virtual Reality-Based Gymnastics Visualization Using Real-Time Motion Capture Suit” [demo video] and “A Collaborative Augmented Reality Platform for Interactive and Immersive Education” [demo video], respectively. Both Owen and Michael worked in my lab this summer under the support of my NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduate (REU) supplemental grant, and were advised by graduate students Jiangong Chen, Zhanchen Dong and me. Each of them published their first-author demo paper for the first time. Moreover, Michael and Jiangong received the Best Poster Presentation Award. Congratulations to Michael, Owen, Zhanchen and Jiangong!
