Organisms & Ecosystems
We work mostly in freshwater ecosystems on organisms that range from algae to fish. But we sometimes extend into marine and terrestrial habitats to search for generalities.

Studies
Our work uses a variety of approaches including mathematical modeling, lab and field-based experiments, observational studies, and data syntheses.

Facilities
Our primary lab is in the beautiful Forest Resources Building at Penn State, but we also have growth chambers, mesocosm facilities, and outdoor pond and stream facilities.
