Here are options for you to explore the wonders of creativity and the arts in our institution.
We are shaping these programs continuously through participant feedback, and in the beginning stages of developing pilot research studies into their measurable outcomes. Fostering arts within a healthcare facility helps to establish an environment of complimentary, human-centered cancer care. This in turn may promote relaxation, community building, and professional resilience. Such are the goals not only of our Center Stage Arts in Health department, but also of the Penn State Cancer Institute at large.
