Art Quilts Workshop
Fabric Collage • Paintings in Fabric • Raw edge applique
Whatever you call it, Art Quilts are fun and versatile.
Award winning artist Martha Ressler will lead you in creating a small art quilt using the raw edge applique method. Colorful fabrics are fused into position to create a bird. You will cut, fuse and, if time allows, sew your own art quilt to take home.
Mosaic Mandala Workshop
A mandala is an artwork that symbolizes the universe. Glass mosaic artist Aya Kinoshita will guide you to make your original 4” round mandala with glass and tiles. Enjoy the colorful materials and challenge yourself using wheeled nippers to break glass and tiles into different shapes! Nipping the glass and placing them in circles
are a meditative activity.
Participants will be required to sign a liability release for working with glass.
