“Sharing your story is an act of compassion. Just like our shared experiences, our words bind us and unite us. Through every story we tell we create a bridge that helps someone along the way.”
– WE&Co.
The Compassion Project is an interactive photography installation that consists of over 40 black and white metal print images, honoring Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center healthcare workers. The purpose of this installation is to display and exemplify the meaning of compassion. Each participant was encouraged to bring an item or person(s) that signifies or has displayed compassion to them. As you view their photographs and hear their stories we encourage you to reflect on the meaning of compassion as well, and how it has shown up in your life. You will be able to find the installation on the ground level, first floor and second floor.
