Data are based on a review of literature published within an approximately 3.5-year time frame (January 2014–August 2017), including academic journals, managerial journals, industry reports, and relevant web resources. The primary focuses of the literature survey are on general background of the 5S concept and its application in the warehouse/distribution center operations context.
