Denise Streeter
Denise W. Streeter brings over 25 years of professional and academic experience in accounting, economics, and finance to the table. She began her career with the former Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). As a Certified Public Accountant, she has worked with both worldwide and local accounting firms. Denise also has served as Manager of Trust Accounting for a fund of over $1 billion in assets and as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at a major, national youth development organization.

She has utilized this background to teach courses on Accounting, Computing, Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, and Financial Institutions to students of all ages and in various formats. Denise holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Howard University, a master’s degree in Finance from The Johns Hopkins University, and a master’s degree in Economics from Old Dominion University. She also holds a Ph.D. in Finance, also from Old Dominion University, with her research focused on corporate finance, financial markets and institutions, and international finance.

Denise and her husband, Chris, are the proud parents of three young adults.
