2/9/14-2/22/14 Washington, DC. Dr. Fick traveled to the U13 Conference Series – sponsored by National Institute on Aging/American Geriatric Society/Hartford Foundation- that explored the state of the science for delirium research. Presented preliminary results of END-DSD study.

5/7/14-9/14/14 Boston, MA. Dr. Fick traveled to lecture at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and to meet with other researchers at Harvard regarding a current grant.

5/14/14-5/17/14 Orlando, FL. Dr. Fick traveled to attend and present at the Annual Scientific Sessions of the American Geriatrics Society (AGS).

7/12/14-7/16/14 Copenhagen, Denmark. Dr. Fick traveled to attend and present a paper on research findings at the 2014 Alzhiemer’s Association International Conference (AAIC). And then on to Dusseldorf, Germany for meetings with with research colleagues at the DZNE (German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases).

10/15/14-10/16/14 Washington,DC. Dr. Fick traveled to attend the FNINR (Friends of the National Institute of Nursing) Annual Night Gala.

11/5/14-11/11/14 Washington,DC. Dr. Fick traveled to attend and present at the 2014 Annual Scientific Meeting of GSA (Gerontological Society of America) and then on to meeting with IOM (Institute of Medicine).

4/23/15-4/26/15 Dublin, Ireland. Dr. Fick traveled to present research findings at the 8th Annual International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics European Region Congress.

5/14/15-5/17/15 NationalHarbor,MD. Dr. Fick traveled to attend the 2015 Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Geriatrics Society (AGS), at which Dr. Fick gave 4 geriatric presentations, attended 2 board meetings, and attended a Hartford event.

Dr. Fick will travel to the 2015 IPA International Congress –Balancing Cure with Care: Advances in Late Life Mental Health, taking place on 13–16 October 2015 in Berlin, Germany, will focus on balancing races for the cure against the undeniable obligation we have as mental health professionals to care for our patients and their families.

Dr. Fick will travel to 68th Annual Scientific Meeting of The Gerontological Society of America (GSA), taking place in Orlando, FL from 18 November, 2015 to 22 November, 2015.
