NATURE MINIONS: THE LAST ZOOM CALL …

Due to current situations (COVID-19), our project switched gears. Unfortunately, the Nature Minions were unable to partake in the service component.. keeping us from all the fun we would have had during our work in bee hive maintenance. Even though we were at a disadvantage from not being able to gain first-hand knowledge, we were able to adapt to the circumstances and finish our research report and presentation on “Bee Population Decline” (see attached). Overall, we were able to learn a lot about bees and how essential they are to not only us, but the whole environment as well as advance our team working efforts one zoom call at a time!

Nature Minions: Our Team

Hello, we’re the Nature Minions! Our team members include: team liaison Eric Loper (far right), team leader Bri Mora (center), and our team organizers/secretaries Maddie Bean (far left) and Tom Pietrowski (back left).

Eric is a senior majoring in IST, proud dog owner, and our technology guru. Bri is a junior majoring in Global Studies and Political Science. She likes to travel and be adventurous: her most recent adventure being studying abroad in London and skydiving. Maddie is a freshman majoring in Early Education. She enjoys trying new foods as sushi is currently her favorite. Lastly, Tom is a junior majoring in Business: Marketing and Management. He incorporates his love of sports by attending all PSU football games.

The organization the Nature Minions will be working with is Seven Generations Charter School. They will be, under this organization, reconstructing beehives.
