Dev Update #5
Schools Out For Summer. Or in my case: Out for about two weeks and then back into the Fall Semester.
We’re in the home stretch now. This update marks the end of my weekly updates for the Summer semester, and signals the end of finals.
Because the end of the semester is so jam packed with studying and test taking, I needed to fit working on this project into the small breaks in between. I did manage to get a lot done this week regardless.
I focused a lot on small idle animations as well as a demo evolution animation tree for the Bumblebee hybrid. I also did some brainstorming on the names for the hybrids.
Dev Update #4
“Our resolved will to endure any hostility is the sure way to win the adversary.”
―Lailah Gifty Akita
This week has been hectic. The summer semester is wrapping up and between finals, final projects, work and family commitments, finding time to relax and put my own mental health first has been a bit hard pressed this week.
I didn’t truly get every goal that I set for the project this week done. But there’s still a lot of progress that has been made.
Dev Update #3
It’s beginning to look a lot like spring. But not literally.
Were back again with another weekly update! Most of my progress this week had to do with the basic layout of the creature reference sheets, getting the evolution trees sketched and scanned, as well as starting to put together color schemes.
Dev Update #2
Have you ever had an urge to just learn random facts for no reason? Yeah, me too.
Hey Everyone! I hope you’ve all had a good week. Mine certainly has because this week I’ve been focusing on research and some initial character sketches.
Dev Update #1
Welcome to the first ever developer update to Floral Fauna!
Given that this project is only just leaving the starting line, I felt that it was appropriate to begin with organizing a cohesive feel for the project.
As a previous Graphic Design student, I understand the huge importance that brand identity has on the success and feel of a project of any type.
