Look at this party! These lice were collected in 1966 in Ilashe, Nigeria on Tatera (Gerbilliscus) kempii (Wroughton, 1906) (Rodentia:Muridae). This species, commonly known as Kemp’s gerbil, is known for its its extremely long tail and large skull (Wroughton 1906).
