Hello, I’m AJ.
I’m a current PSU-WC student, and a senior in the BS_OL program. Geographically, I currently live in North America, but that will change in less then a year or so. I’m medically retired from the US Army (as of April 2014) and was a Standardization Instructor for Aviation and Rescue, Special Missions Senior Section Chief, and Operations Adviser. I currently own my own business, and seek to see it grow as both a short-term and long-term goal.
As far as leadership experience goes, I have worked in organizations large and small, on local and multinational levels as an expert and leader in my field(s). Aside from working for myself while attending school full-time, I am also a professional contract photographer, instructor, adviser, and writer of military and leadership articles. My hobbies include scuba diving, flying, world travel (I have been to over 50 nations so far in my life, and lived in 8), riding my home built motorcycle, snowboarding, long distance endurance athletic events, and more.

It’s great to get to know you’re background AJ, that’s quite the diverse hobby set. I look forward to working with you this semester.

Michele,
I’m curious, what is a “Sock Cupcake”? If you are talking about “Cupcakes” in the shapes of “Socks”, how do you plan to ship them to another country, and why “socks”?
AJ – Where I currently work on the Penn State Campus I am housed with all of our ROTC Programs. I have recently started working with some fellow colleagues on a building initiative where we will be putting together Sock Cupcakes and sharing them with Penn State Alumni who are stationed overseas.
Thank you for what you do to keep us all safe!
Michele
