My name is Marisol Adames and I am currently pursing my B.A. in Organizational Leadership. I have my A.A. in Early Childhood and Education.
I am a mother of two amazing children, my son is currently in Barber school and my daughter is in college for her A.A. in Biology.
I am a Head Start Director in partnership with the School District of Philadelphia. I’ve been in the ECE field for over 18 years. My future goal is to open my own business working with ECE children and their families.

What a cool story you have. As someone in the trades I also think it’s awesome your son is in the process of becoming a Barber! What an awesome old school career. There’s actually been a huge resurgence within recent years for more traditional ways of doing (some) things. Straight razor shaves, analogue watches and so on.
I am also really enjoying meeting so many people in the Organizational Leadership degree path. I can only imagine that these courses along with your many years of ECE experience will make you an awesome business owner that not only empowers the children but especially the families.
So cool to have “met” you and heard your story! Looking forward hearing more from you given your awesome background and heart for kids and their families!
