Good afternoon all!
My name is Zach Jovanovich, I live in a small suburb of Seattle called Puyallup with my Wife of what will be 11 years and my almost 8 year old son. We are super active in our church, and try to take advantage of all the beautiful wilderness and oceans around us as much as we can by kayaking, dirt biking, and hiking.
I’m currently in what will be my 9th class as Penn State. I’m sloooooooooowwwwwwllllllly completing my program in Organizational Leadership. I’m also wrapping up a 4 year machinist apprenticeship with The Boeing Company and LOVE what I do! I have loved my experience at Penn State so far and I truly believe my coursework has been incredible in equipping me to interact with my peers in a large company. It’s also helped me to gain confidence to lead a diverse and incredibly sharp group of intelligent and highly technical individuals should the time come.
My favorite thing about distance learning has been getting the chance to interact with people from all around the world, from varying backgrounds, and with unique viewpoints that are sometimes missed in a traditional college setting. Looking forward to more of that this semester with you all!

Brian,
It’s so awesome to be in another class of yours! I’ve always found the material engaging and extremely applicable, especially in day to day operations in my role now! The smoked salmon is to die for, it’s the closest thing to meat candy that exists in my mind. I suggest some the next time you visit and are going to “Paradise” on Mt Rainier! Looking forward to another awesome semester with you!
Hope your weekend was great!

Katerina,
We really love working with the kiddos, and have an 8 year old and he loves helping with that as well. I’m also a part of the security team making sure those that attend are safe, and helping guests feel welcome! :O)
The national parks are wonderful. A lot of them are phenomenal hiking and camping parks and some select ones allow for dirt biking and trail riding. No better way to see the top of a mountain than to scream up it in 5th gear pegged! haha

It is great to have you here Zach. I visited Seattle once and I really loved it. I’m not a seafood lover, but I think I could have eaten smoked salmon from the fish market until I burst. The one thing I didn’t have time to do was explore the mountains, which someday I will have to go back and do. I look forward to working with you.

Hi Zachary!
I am Sloooowwwwwlyyyyy completing BA in Organizational Leadership. We can do this! haha I loved Seattle. I have been there once, years ago, for a wedding and they held their ceremony at a national park. It was breathtaking. I am active in my church as well. In what ways are you and your wife involved? That’s so awesome that you’re both involved.
Good luck this semester!

Hi Zach,
I’ve always wanted to visit Seattle. I’ve heard it’s gorgeous and a lot of fun.
I’m an OLEAD major as well. I have been taking courses part time for 4 years now. I hope to complete my degree in the Spring of 2020. Keep going! It will be worth it.
Best of luck this semester!
