Hello,
My name is Miranda Keefer and I reside in Corning, NY. Corning is located in the Finger Lakes region in upstate NY. People travel from all over the world to explore hiking trails, lakes, wineries and is known for its glass museum (The Corning Museum of Glass). In my spare time I enjoy watching/traveling to hockey, baseball, basketball and football events. I have attended the Stanley Cup for hockey and the World Series for baseball. The degree that I’m pursuing is Organizational Leadership (back in the day it was Criminal Justice). My goal is to succeed in this course and to learn something new that I did not know yesterday. I look forward to talking with all of you.

I love the area you live in. I will be getting married in Ithaca at the farmers market in August 2021! This summer when we are up there for catering tasting I plan to stop at the museum. We last visited in October, we hiked a few trails, most notable Watkins Glen. It was beautiful, I can imagine being there when it is prime time for tourists. Once I finish school I will be able to go back to being a hockey watching “junky”. I grew up loving the Penguins but living next to Philly, I might cave in and buy some Flyers gear.

Welcome to the class Miranda. Funny enough I started out a criminal justice major as well. I drive through Corning all the time to visit my parents and extended family in the Adirondack Park. Someday I’m going to stop at the museum, ha ha. I look forward to working with you.
