Here’s your opportunity to give back to the scientific community! And what better way, than to impart wisdom!

Come and help us organize cool science workshops for young women scientists (6-8th grade)

Email Katrin (kjp5705-at-psu.edu) or Nicolle (ntd5143-at-psu.edu) today!

Every semester we hold a half-day workshop for local girls to do science activities and meet real people who do science (that means us)! Each semester we choose a theme, and ask volunteers to develop a 30-40 minute activity or demo based on that theme. Our Fall workshop typically occurs in November and our Spring workshop occurs in April.

Join us in science outreach and give back to the community! We are seeking volunteers both as activity leaders and day-of volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, contact our Young Women in STEM Workshop co-chairs.
