Maia is a Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology student from Woodland Park, Colorado. She enjoys playing soccer, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, playing video games, and being outside.

She is broadly interested in understanding the role of different enzymatic knockouts in purine homeostasis and the toxic effects of intermediate products of purine synthesis.
