Boating

This summer (2021) we went boating on Dr. Holland’s new pontoon boat.  The weather was a little windy so our departure was delayed, but things finally settled down and we anchored in a beautiful cove on the lake in Bald Eagle State Park for dinner.  We also played Mexican Train and a fun dice game.  From left to right in the picture are Kate DeHeer (second year grad student), Alyssa Addesso (second year grad student), Shelby Bain (Researcher), and Camila Goclowski (visiting UG from Hobart & William Smith Colleges)

Special Olympics

This summer (2018) the members of our group volunteered at the Special Olympics held at Penn State.  We had a blast with the many wonderful volunteers and felt blessed to be able to provide encouragement and support to the athletes who competed in the track & field events.  From left to right in the picture are Troy Adams, Jen McElhoe, Mitch Holland, Charity Holland, Sidney Gaston-Sanchez, and Samantha Jarvis.
