Professor, Departments of Pediatrics and Humanities
Benjamin H. Levi, MD, PhD, FAAP is a philosopher and primary care pediatrician whose scholarship focuses on conceptual and applied aspects of human decision-making. This includes developing and conducting research on decision aids for advance care planning as well as gamified online learning programs that prepare mandated reporters to protect at-risk children. Dr. Levi is Director of The iLookOut Project; has worked for many years teaching bioethics conducting and supervising clinical ethics consultation in medical settings; and was the founding Director of Penn State’s Center for the Protection of Children. He is also an aspiring blues guitarist.
