The Department of Humanities has a strong commitment to, and expertise in, ethics. We engage in ethics education for students, residents, and other clinicians throughout the institution, including case conferences, lectures and small group discussions. The leadership for the medical center’s Ethics Committee is situated within the Department of Humanities, and the Ethics Committee provides consultation, education, and policy support.
