There are recent updates in Canvas at the beginning of Jan. 2018. Some of you may have noticed some changes in the People page in Canvas. Two changes that are worth mentioning are;
- Inactive status – Some of you may see “Inactive” label next to one or more of your students’ name in the People page. “Inactive” indicates that the student has enrolled and later dropped your course. There are no actions needed for you. Inactive students will not have access to your Canvas course and will not be listed in the Grades page.
- Print View – Printing and viewing your roster can now be done via the Wheel icon (top-right corner of the People page). However, the print view will list everyone in the course including instructor, course admin, but it will not include the inactive (dropped) students. Student pictures on the print view screen are official PSU photo (taken when getting the ID card). Some students may not have official photo (mostly World Campus students).
