Selected Projects

  • GPT-VR Nexus: ChatGPT-Powered Immersive Virtual Reality Experience [Paper] [Poster]
In this demo, we present GPT-VR Nexus, a novel framework to bridge the gap between generative AI and the VR environment. It enables a ChatGPT-powered VR experience – e.g., automated generation of 3D scenes and interaction with VR objects – from VR user audio inputs/commands.
  • Virtual-Reality-Based Remote Learning
In this project, I have designed and programmed a virtual classroom using Unity and Oculus Integration package. With an Oculus headset, students and teachers can explore a virtual world and interact with each other. They can pick some simple models and perform 3D drawings. A server (developed by Java and Eclipse) is responsible for synchronizing users’ actions and audio.
  • Implementation to An Online Microblog (Website)
In this project, I built an online microblog by Python and the Flask framework. On this website, users can register their own accounts, log in to see the shared moments, and follow other users. Besides, users can post messages and photos and interact with others by likes or comments.
  • A DIY Version of Netflix and Amazon Recommendation Engines (Demo)
This is the capstone project of the Java Programming and Software Engineering Fundamentals Specialization provided by Duke University on Coursera. In this project, I have designed and programmed a recommender system with the same basic features as those used by companies such as Netflix and Amazon.
