Passion Blog Introduction: USMNT and the 2014 FIFA World Cup

Last semester I enjoyed blogging about some of my favorite movies. My normal procedure when I had to decided on what movie to write about was to start by watching a few clips from the movie in order to refresh my memory. Almost all the time I would end up watching the entire movie from the opening scene to the ending credits. The process of writing blogs became a weekly event that I looked forward to. This semester I do plan to change my passion blog topic to a subject I am equally excited for. Every four years the world stops for a month and fixes its eye on one country in the world. This summer the FIFA World Cup returns to Brazil where 32 nations will compete in an international soccer competition for national pride, fame, history, and glory. My passion blog intends to cover this upcoming Word Cup with a special focus on the United States Men’s National Team who will be competing for the FIFA World Cup Trophy. My blog will cover the tournament’s draw, its teams, and its latest updates and news. My blog will also cover the USMNT and any developments regarding the players who are trying to make the world cup roster. The goal of my blog to spread my enthusiasm, knowledge, and excitement for the World Cup and especially the United State’s national team, so that hopefully when the tournament rolls around in June that all my readers will be as informed and exited as me.
