1) On Wednesday, September 29, I will be speaking, with Stephen Gundle and Guido Bonsaver, at the meeting of the Society for Italian Studies in Oxford, UK.  Our topic will be fascist-era culture and Jane Dunnett’s excellent posthumously published work.

2) In October, I  will be speaking at the Italian American Studies Association on masculinity and the “figures” of Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Corrado Cagli.
