Rotaract defines “We Are…”

At a recent meeting, members of the Penn State Rotaract Club took time to record what the iconic phrase “We Are…” means for contemporary Penn State.  The following are the responses collected from the reflection activity.

WE ARE…

– means together we hold common ideals.  We can count on each other and can achieve our goals together.

– the future, a great school, and leaders of America.

– involves a group of committed people fighting for a common cause.

– a group of students united and dedicated to making a better future.

– PENN STATE!

– helping the people who need it most and are willing and happy to do so.

– a family in the same situation, all doing good work.

– a group of motivated individuals who share a love of service, students who carry the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self” over into our everyday lives, and friends who focus on serving others and building lasting friendships.

– people who give back to those less fortunate.

– proud.

– dedicated.

– the words that bring Penn State together and unite us all.

– kind and generous.

– together.  We’re a community, and we share how proud we are of it.

  1. This is great Rachel and Rotaract! Council, what do you think?

For me, We are innovators. We are seeking to heal the community through service, leadership, and a re-commitment to community and excellence.
