Act Two synopsis:
Adriana angrily awaits her husband, who is late for dinner. Dromio of Ephesus enters and tells about his meeting with Antipholus of Syracuse. Adriana, furious that Antipholus has denied that he has a wife, sends Dromio back to fetch him home.
Antipholus of Syracuse meets Dromio of Syracuse, who denies having spoken of Antipholus’s wife. Adriana and her sister, Luciana, enter and persuade Antipholus to come to dinner.
