On the western side of the state, Penn State Beaver is a close-knit, 100-acre scenic campus just 35 miles northwest of the city of Pittsburgh. Many of our 700 students choose to spend all four years of their education here enrolled in one of seven campus majors; others are enrolled in any one of Penn State 275+ majors and pursuing the popular 2+2 program.
With a major metropolitan area nearby, Penn State Beaver students have access to all Pittsburgh has to offer, including its vibrant sports and cultural scenes as well as numerous nightlife options. The campus residence hall, Harmony Hall, offers a home to 212 students and is only steps away from the Brodhead Bistro, a full-scale food court located in the Student Union Building, which houses numerous student support services as well as the campus bookstore.
At Penn State Beaver, Nittany Lions Read/Nittany Lions Count is coordinated through a collaboration the CSFWS Office at University Park and campus stakeholders.
