Hello! I’m Marissa, a writer and avid reader passionate about all things related to books.  I’m passionate about history and literature and majored in English and Classic and Ancient Mediterranean Studies, with a minor in Jewish Studies.

A self-proclaimed feminist, I am passionate about exploring ancient literature through a feminist lens to learn more about the women who came before me. I love to travel to the places where history happened, developing a relationship with those who lived there millennia ago. In my writing, I aim to revisit ancient myths and folklore and examine them from a feminist perspective.
