Amanda is a freshman from Palmer Lake, CO. Not only is she diver for the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium, but she will be interning at the Clearwater Aquarium this summer! She will also be one of the Marine Science Society Social Chairs for the 2017-2018 School Year.

“MSS was the first and only club I joined my first semester at Penn State. I made friends, went to events, and learned so much. I would have never gotten so many great opportunities had I not joined. I’m also incredibly passionate about the ocean; as long as I’ve been alive I’ve been fascinated by the ocean. The ocean determines what happens to our planet, and that matters to me.”
