Dr. Andrew Simonson (the Medina group’s very first Ph.D. student!) celebrates his graduate commencement. Dr. Simonson will go on to study the pathogenesis of Tuberculosis infection as a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. JoAnne L. Flynn at the University of Pittsburgh. Everyone in the Medina lab is incredibly proud of Andrew, and are looking forward to following all his future successes!
