Have you ever heard the saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover”? Well if you have that’s what I’d tell you about the Honky Tonk Bar and Saloon. As you pull up to the Honky Tonk, you’ll notice that your about to enter what looks to be an old run down building with a bunch of parts that came straight out of a Clint Eastwood western. However, once inside the true colors of the Honky Tonk show. A rust saloon with upbeat music, dancing, and either a band or DJ. The bar usually has drink specials, which is great for any college student on a budget. So if you ever get the chance and feel like trying out a new bar. The Honky Tonk also does lunch, which was not best. The wings tasted like KFC smothered in sauce and the hot wing hoagie wasn’t anything special. My lunch recommendations would be their pizza or soup. In my eyes, the Honky Tonk would get 3 stars for lunch, and 5 stars for their night life.
