How do you determine whether your learning objective is realistically reflecting student accomplishment?

The National Center for the Improvement of Educational Assessment developed a toolkit of materials that can guide you through the pedagogy of creating measurable objectives.  It includes short videos and tutorials, rubric for assessing the SLO (see the picture below), and concrete examples from different grade levels.
