This hike was lead by me, Chris Marone. Post hike I can definitely say that leading this hike was one of my greatest achievements yet. Just a couple of years ago I was a first time member, hiking with jeans in the rain (I know!), and now I am leading 21 mile day hikes, and facilitating members of various experience levels. Nothing matters to me more than finding something I love and sharing it with others.

We started around 9:30 and finished around 7. Many rocks, many laurels. Shingle’s path was nice and intense haha. I’m really proud of my crew, this hike was by no means easy.
